East Riding of Yorkshire Council
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council is a unitary authority. This means that all local Council services are provided by the same Council - unlike some other parts of the country where responsibility is shared between a County Council and a local District or Borough Council.
East Riding's Anti-Social Behaviour Team
The Anti-Social Behaviour Team is here to help anyone who is suffering with persistent anti-social behaviour such as; verbal abuse or threats, rowdy and intimidating behaviour, harassment, damage to property, vandalism.
Humberside Police
Nafferton is covered by Driffield Police based at Wansford Road, Driffield. All Nafferton’s local issues are covered by Driffield Neighbourhood Police Team comprising a sergeant, two police constables and six police community support officers. The team is split into two groups: Driffield and Rural, and East Wolds and Coastal. This latter is the team which includes Nafferton. PC Jan Bates is the new Neighbourhood Beat Officer for Nafferton and taking over from PCSO Webster is PCSO Adrian Clark. He and PCSO Maggs work alongside PC Bates on local issues. Their beat is from Skipsea in the South of our region and up to Wold Newton in the North.
