A community resource for Nafferton
Nafferton Village News Arising from the urgent need for a new centre for our Under Fives we have plans for a new community resource centre for Nafferton comprising:
– Multi purpose meeting room / education training room with catering facilities
– Under Fives space with play facilities
• New access road and car parking
• New and improved lighting around the building including; CCTV

The Project Partners are:-
• Nafferton Feoffees Trust
• Nafferton Under Fives
• Nafferton Parish Council

The provision of a new purpose built Community Building would secure the future of Nafferton Under 5’s to continue to operate but in the greater context we would offer a whole new dimension to community group facilities. Our vision is to provide an inclusive development, with facilities for every age group and every resident in the village. We aim to do this by careful planning and community involvement.

Distraction burglaries
Nafferton Village News On Tuesday 1st September 2009 Two such offences occurred in Wroots Ave. Goole at about 16.30hrs and West Hall Garth South Cave at 1700hrs.

At both offences the elderly victims were visited by 2 to 3 males purporting to be calling about the water supply, whilst in the premises one of the males engaged the victim whilst the others stole their purses/wallets.

The males' descriptions are not available at present as the victims are elderly and being treated by specialist police officers, at present we understand they are all white males dressed in working clothing wearing black woolly hats.

The most common feature at both locations is the use of a Black Saab convertible by the suspects it was seen at both Burglary scenes by witnesses
