The scheme is essentially complete (there are a few final checks to carry out). Yorkshire Water invested £180,000 into the scheme, which it is hoped will reduce the risk of sewer flooding in the part of Nafferton served by the pumping station.

Latest Developments on High-speed Broadband.
|
Recently, LN Communications has installed a relay mast behind the Methodist Church. Quite a few households should be able to receive a signal from there. Check whether you have a clear line-of-sight from your roof. Anyone interested should contact the company direct at:
"I Love Broadband", Unit 10, Scotchburn Garth, Skerne Road, Driffield, YO25 6EF,
or go to their website at: www.ilovebroadband.co.uk/
More extensive availability around the Village can be expected in the spring.
We understand that BT has also been upgrading its service in the Village. Some fibre-optic lines have been installed, and will enable customers to access their top-of-the-range Broadband Infinity Service within a few months.
